I'm just your average, everyday writer working hard and doing what I love when I can find the time; starting small and working my way up to something big.
I currently work at the American Red Cross as an Administrative Assistant III, and I make schedules for two regions to ensure that blood gets where it needs to go at any given time. When I'm not working there, I'm reading, writing, traveling, and/or drinking excessive amounts of caffeine.

It's hilarious and useful, and we certainly don't use it enough today.
If you were stuck on a deserted island and only had one book with you, which book would it be and why?
The Tale of Despereaux. This was my first real "novel" when I was in the third grade. It was so sweet and enjoyable to read. I'm almost 27 years old, and I still re-read it for comfort, so I'd definitely take it with me if I were stranded somewhere.
What's something you're really good at?
I'm really, really, REALLY good at organizing calendars and more so than your Average Joe. I'm an avid organizer, and I am constantly organizing things for myself and anyone who asks... Sometimes even those who don't.
